Lydia Phillips is an independent consultant providing program evaluation, social policy and facilitation services.
Lydia has experience across family violence prevention and response, adult and youth justice, mental health, disability, problem gambling, workforce development and access to justice in regional and rural areas. She is an experienced project manager, workshop facilitator and certified organisational coach.
Prior to consulting, Lydia worked in senior advisory roles in the Victorian public service. She has also worked as a Research Fellow on family violence, as a legal policy officer in the community sector and as a commercial litigation lawyer. She draws on her experience across the government, corporate, community and academic sectors in her consulting work.
In 2023, Lydia joined the Victorian Committee of the Australian Evaluation Society. She previously served on a university Human Research Ethics Committee. She has been published in grey and peer-reviewed academic literature.
Lydia has qualifications in Evaluation (1st Class Hons), Law (Hons) and Media & Communications, all from the University of Melbourne. She is also a certified organisational coach (Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership, Level Two), an accredited Facet5 practitioner and an alumna of Leadership Victoria.
